Mikaela O’Connor, MD

Born and raised in Naples, Florida, Mikaela O’Connor, MD, is proud to care for women in the community she has always called home. As part of the team at Southwest Florida Women’s Group, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based obstetric and gynecologic care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

Dr. O’Connor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, before completing medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She went on to complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where she was selected to serve as chief resident.

Since joining Southwest Florida Women’s Group in September 2024, Dr. O’Connor has focused on helping women feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout every stage of life. She provides a wide range of women’s health services, including preventive care, pregnancy care, birth control counseling, and treatment for gynecologic concerns.

Dr. O’Connor is passionate about empowering women to take an active role in their health while delivering high-quality care close to home in Naples.
