Alfonsina García, MD

Alfonsina García, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Southwest Florida Women’s Group in Naples, Florida. Since entering private practice in 2018, she has been dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that helps women feel comfortable, supported, and informed throughout every stage of life.

Dr. García graduated with honors from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, before earning her medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, Antigua. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. García values clear communication and strives to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all patients. She believes in building strong relationships with the women she cares for and takes time to understand each patient’s individual health concerns and goals.

At Southwest Florida Women’s Group, Dr. García provides comprehensive women’s healthcare services, including annual exams, prenatal care, birth control counseling, menopause support, and treatment for gynecologic conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, and abnormal bleeding. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
